WHAT IS LMS? l EXPLORE BLACKBOARD!

Hello everyone, today we are going to learn what LMS is and see an LMS application example, Blackboard. LMS stands for Learning Management System, which is a software application that helps students and teachers to keep track of the work they do, save the process, and view, take and drop classes.

Learning Management Systems were designed to identify and monitor the spaces in training and learning, using the data and reporting. It is one of the most helpful systems for both teachers and students because it suits today’s educational technologies and purposes.

Blackboard is an application/website that allows students to view their grades, tests, courses, and the content that their teachers share with them. They can see the teachers’ e-mail addresses to make communication easier. Also, teachers can prepare quizzes, tests, or different types of assignments for their students.

There is also a section called Blackboard Ultra, and that is where students can watch the online classes. They can be in the class with their cameras on, teachers can see their names and if see they are in the class and then they ask students questions.

Blackboard is very useful and easy to use because everything is so easy to find. It has individual sections and tabs for the things that you are looking for. You can see your messages, grades, calendar and so much more on the left sidebar. All you need to do is learn the tabs and then you are good to go!
