BE A WRITER! l STORYBIRD

     Storybird is a Web 2.0 tool that allows both students and teachers to write and/or read written stories.

 

     On the website, there are tabs that guide users to the reading and writing activities and challenges, which are created by expert educators. In the writing section, there is a huge collection of artwork that helps the writer's creativity. It motivates writers to see their work visualized and encourages them to write more. They can choose a theme and find suitable pictures for their stories, or they can choose pictures first and let them inspire them to write a story, it is completely up to the writer! However, it is hard to find the target pictures for the story.

     Storybird is also beneficial for improving the reader's reading skills in another language. They can filter the stories by category, popularity, publishing date, and age group. Users also can comment on other users' stories, like and share them.
